Job Summary:
The Demi Chef de Partie is responsible for preparing high-quality food in accordance with the outlet's standards, ensuring efficient and professional kitchen operations, and contributing to the overall dining experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food items to maintain a consistent, high-quality product.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented in line with Hyatt International standards.
  • Assist in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory, and stock rotation.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth workflow and timely food service.
  • Assist in menu planning and development as required by the Chef de Partie.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring proper kitchen procedures are followed.
  • Monitor portion control and waste reduction to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a high-end hotel or restaurant.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
  • Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Team-oriented, with good communication and organizational skills.

 

Level of Education:
Culinary certification or equivalent training is preferred.

Work Hours:
Full-time position with flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Experience in Months:
Minimum 12 months of experience in a similar role.
