Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the menu and restaurant standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to create innovative menu items and seasonal specials.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
  • Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on techniques and best practices.
  • Participate in daily kitchen operations, including prep work, cooking, plating, and service.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment, fostering collaboration and communication.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in a high-quality restaurant or hotel environment.
  • Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for food.

 

Level of Education:

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time positions available, with shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 12–24 months of relevant experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
