Job Summary:
An opportunity has arisen for a Coordinator to join the Guest Relations team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab Hotel. In this role, you will enhance the guest experience by managing VIP interactions and ensuring personalized service.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently compose and communicate the daily VIP memo through effective guest research and profiling, recognizing the value of sources, companies, groups, or agents.
- Establish contact with all VIP guests prior to their arrival, arranging any necessary requests and serving as their main point of contact during their stay.
- Follow up with VIP guests post-departure via email or phone to gather feedback and maintain relationships.
- Utilize the E-Butler system to check in with VIP guests and ensure their needs are met throughout their stay.
- Review arrival reports to ensure VIP requests are fulfilled with the correct room assignments and that all necessary traces are set up with relevant departments.
- Update and manage same-day reservations for VIP guests, communicating with relevant departments and informing Hotel Operations of any additional VIPs or significant guests.
- Allocate, arrange, and order amenities daily for necessary guests, coordinating closely with Room Service to meet their expectations.
- Maintain a detailed record of all in-house VIP and significant guests, regularly updating and sharing this information with Hotel Operations to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure guest profile records are accurately updated and maintained according to Opera input standards, consistently updating the guest CV library with preferences.
- Develop and implement personalized service strategies for VIP guests to enhance their overall experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate seamless service delivery for VIP guests.
- Assist in organizing special events or requests for VIP guests, ensuring a memorable experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and by telephone.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera or similar).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to guest service.
- Experience in guest profiling and relationship management is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Level of Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.

Experience in Months:
- Minimum of 12 months of relevant experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
