Job Summary:
Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards, ensuring quality and food safety.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing food; wash and peel fruits and vegetables.
  • Cook food following recipes, quality, and presentation standards. Operate kitchen equipment like ovens, stoves, grills, and fryers.
  • Monitor food quality during preparation, ensuring proper portions and testing for doneness.
  • Set up and break down workstations; maintain cleanliness of kitchen, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow safety policies and report maintenance issues or unsafe conditions. Maintain professional appearance and communication, and work collaboratively with team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year.
  • Supervisory Experience: None.
  • License or Certification: None.
