Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Chef De Rang to join our Drift Food & Beverage team at One&Only Royal Mirage, Dubai. This role involves delivering exceptional service to our guests, adhering to the highest standards of hospitality, and ensuring every dining experience exceeds expectations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding table service, ensuring prompt, professional, and personalized guest interactions.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all food and beverage menus, including daily specials and promotions.
  • Ensure all guests' orders are taken accurately and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Monitor the quality of food and beverages served, addressing any guest concerns swiftly.
  • Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked dining area.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of the dining area for events and regular service.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless service during high-demand periods.
  • Actively engage with guests to create memorable dining experiences and foster guest loyalty.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally, escalating any major concerns to management.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Chef De Rang or similar role in a luxury or high-volume restaurant or beach club.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Charismatic, energetic, and outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
  • Experience working in Dubai’s high-end dining scene is preferred.

 

Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in hospitality or food service management are a plus.

Work Hours:
Full-time, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Experience in Months:
Minimum of 24 months in a similar role, with experience in high-end or high-volume environments.
