Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Atlantis Dubai. This role offers the chance to showcase your creativity and expertise in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize mise en place for your section, ensuring timely preparation of dishes.
- Maintain the highest food quality standards, paying attention to detail and presentation.
- Assist the Chef de Cuisine in planning, leading, and executing daily kitchen operations.
- Support the Sous Chef in developing and testing new recipes and menus.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain proper sanitation practices.
- Monitor food stock levels, assist in inventory management, and ensure minimal waste.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, ensuring consistency in dish preparation and presentation.
- Ensure prompt service and coordination with front-of-house teams during peak hours.
- Maintain clear communication with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and introduce innovative culinary techniques.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within an international luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to multitask, work efficiently under pressure, and handle a high-volume environment.
- Creative and passionate about food, with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Previous experience in Michelin-starred or world-renowned restaurants is a plus.
Level of Education:
Diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant culinary training.
Work Hours:
Full-time, including weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required.
Experience in Months:
24-36 months of relevant experience in luxury hotel kitchens or fine dining environments
