Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to develop innovative menus and maintain consistency in the kitchen.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a range of dishes, including starters, main courses, and desserts, according to established recipes and menu specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design menus that meet guest preferences and dietary needs while incorporating seasonal ingredients.
  • Ensure strict quality control, maintaining consistency in portion sizes, taste, texture, and presentation across all dishes.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to cooking techniques, hygiene standards, and food safety practices.
  • Oversee food preparation to guarantee efficiency, proper sanitation, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stocking kitchen supplies.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into menu development.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional cooking experience, preferably in a high-volume or luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and lead by example.
  • Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
