Job Summary:
We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic Kitchen professionals to join our team as Chef de Partie. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily food preparation and ensuring that all culinary standards are met, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily mis-en-place and food production in various sections of the main kitchen and satellite kitchens.
  • Coordinate daily tasks with the Sous Chef or Executive Chef to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Follow instructions and recommendations from superiors to complete daily tasks effectively.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation, staying updated on new products, recipes, and techniques.
  • Instruct and lead subordinates in food preparation, actively participating in the setup and supervision of buffets and special events.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure cleanliness, manage wastage, and control costs.
  • Consult on daily requirements and special functions, adapting to last-minute changes as necessary.
  • Train and motivate subordinates daily to foster a productive and economical working environment.
  • Assist in menu planning and recipe development to enhance guest offerings.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.

 

Requirements:

  • Professional kitchen apprenticeship or culinary training, with prior experience in reputable establishments.
  • Excellent culinary skills with a strong understanding of food preparation, presentation, and preservation.
  • Strong command of the English language; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to train and motivate a team.

 

Level of Education:

  • Professional kitchen apprenticeship or culinary training course.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 24 months of experience in a similar role within a quality kitchen environment.
