Job Summary:
The Guest Arrival Expert is responsible for creating a positive first and last impression for our guests, ensuring their arrival and departure experiences are memorable and enjoyable. This role involves delivering exceptional service, handling operational needs, and providing guests with information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Process guest requests and inquiries, addressing any issues that may arise during their stay.
- Complete necessary operational reports and documentation related to guest arrivals and departures.
- Provide information on hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guests’ experiences.
- Manage luggage handling, including storage and transportation to and from guest rooms.
- Coordinate transportation services for guests, such as taxis and shuttles, and assist with scheduling as needed.
- Monitor guest satisfaction levels and follow up to ensure needs are met throughout their stay.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the front desk and lobby.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Uphold company standards for safety, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and service delivery.
- Handle emergency situations with composure and professionalism, ensuring guest safety.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is advantageous but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and software for check-in/check-out processes.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and more than 75 pounds with assistance.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
- Familiarity with local attractions and amenities is a plus.
