Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Butler to join the luxury Beit Al Bahar villas at Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional and personalized services, ensuring a delightful and memorable experience for our guests throughout their stay.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and escort guests to their villas, assisting with luggage and ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of rooms and suites, handling guest inquiries and special requests promptly.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and expectations, including those with special requirements, and provide tailored services accordingly.
  • Take and process orders accurately, maintaining an extensive knowledge of menu items and beverage offerings to address guest inquiries effectively.
  • Carry out guest registration and cashiering tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process while facilitating guest recognition.
  • Address any guest dissatisfaction promptly, taking appropriate action to resolve issues while following complaint procedures and informing management when necessary.
  • Maintain the operation and cleanliness of the Butler Pantry and Reception Desk, ensuring these areas are well-stocked and meet service standards.
  • Prepare and set tables and trays according to property standards and guest requirements, ensuring a high-quality presentation for each meal.
  • Serve and clear food and beverages efficiently and punctually, adhering to established service standards.
  • Uphold an elevated level of personal appearance and hygiene, following Jumeirah grooming standards and arriving on time in the correct uniform.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to all guests and internal customers, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Comply with all relevant Health, Safety, and Environment management procedures to deliver world-class hospitality services.
  • Adhere to HACCP standards and local regulatory requirements, ensuring food safety and quality at all times.
  • Follow all hotel and company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, including Health & Safety policies and punctuality/attendance guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experiences and facilitate special arrangements or requests.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives to continually improve service delivery and personal skills.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the international luxury hospitality industry.
  • Experience in a multi-cultural environment, demonstrating sensitivity to diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with guests while ensuring a respectful distance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

 

Level of Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further hospitality or customer service training is preferred.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time position with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Experience in Months:

  • 24+ months (2+ years) of relevant experience in luxury hospitality.
