Job Summary:      Looking for Building Materials Laboratory Technician in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details

• Visit the construction site to collect samples for testing
• Test the samples in the laboratory, prepare reports and present the results to the relevant personnel
• Assist in managing the laboratory
• Provide advice to the site engineer, clients and civil engineers on construction materials and how best they can be used
• Design quality control procedures for building materials
• Attend meetings with the rest of the project team members
• Perform any other related task as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
• Should have strong knowledge in inspecting various building materials
• At least three years of demonstrated experience in the same field within the UAE
• Familiarity with used concepts, practices as well as procedures in this field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
• Outstanding problem solving skills
• Good report writing skills
• Should be able to work well under pressure
