Job Summary:
The Guest Service Support Expert ensures smooth and efficient food and beverage operations by providing assistance across multiple areas. This role contributes to delivering a memorable guest experience by supporting staff in various tasks such as setting tables, assisting in the kitchen, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the work areas. The ideal candidate will work to enhance the overall guest experience by ensuring prompt and seamless service.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting up dining areas by arranging tables, chairs, and place settings before service.
  • Support kitchen staff by delivering supplies, assisting with prep work, and ensuring workstations are stocked and organized.
  • Replenish items such as linens, cutlery, glassware, and other dining essentials throughout service.
  • Maintain cleanliness in work areas by following clean-as-you-go practices, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently during service to accommodate new guests.
  • Assist in food running by delivering dishes to the appropriate tables while ensuring accurate and timely service.
  • Communicate with service staff and kitchen teams to fulfill guest requests, ensuring smooth coordination across all departments.
  • Perform tasks such as carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Comply with company policies regarding safety, hygiene, and appearance standards to maintain a professional and secure environment.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested by management to ensure the overall success of daily operations.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both staff and guests.
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • No prior work experience required; previous experience in food and beverage service preferred.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
