Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and attentive Guest Service Expert to provide exceptional dining experiences. This role is more than just serving food; it involves creating memorable moments for guests through personalized and seamless service. The ideal candidate will take initiative, adapt to guests' needs, and collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable meal service.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests promptly and ensure they are seated comfortably.
  • Set and arrange tables according to service standards before and after each seating.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen to manage food orders and ensure timely delivery of dishes.
  • Serve food and beverages with professionalism, offering recommendations and addressing guest inquiries about the menu.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables, cleaning workstations, and restocking supplies.
  • Engage with guests to ensure they have a positive dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Monitor guests throughout their meal, providing assistance as needed, including refilling drinks or offering dessert options.
  • Support team efforts during busy periods, ensuring smooth coordination between front-of-house and kitchen staff.
  • Uphold company policies and health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for guests and staff.
  • Assist with setup and teardown for special events or functions, as well as other duties as assigned by supervisors.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods, including navigating uneven surfaces and handling physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 pounds).
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to guest service.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and uphold uniform standards.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is a plus.
