Job Summary:
The Guest Service Expert plays a key role in creating memorable dining experiences by delivering excellent service throughout each guest's visit. This position involves interacting with guests, coordinating with kitchen staff, and maintaining clean and organized service areas. The Guest Service Expert ensures that every dining experience is seamless, from setting tables to taking orders and resolving guest inquiries. The role requires a hands-on approach, ensuring that every aspect of service exceeds guest expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel welcome throughout their dining experience.
- Take and serve orders accurately, ensuring guests are satisfied with their meals and beverages.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate orders, special requests, and timing.
- Set and clear tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for incoming guests.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of beverages and food items as needed.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests, and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including dining and service stations.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and provide feedback to management for continuous improvement.
- Comply with all safety and sanitation policies to maintain a healthy work environment.
- Assist in training new staff on service standards, procedures, and guest interactions.
- Help manage inventory and restock supplies during shifts to avoid disruptions in service.
- Uphold brand standards and ensure all service operations align with company policies.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a food and beverage, restaurant, or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and provide excellent service under pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, with a commitment to upholding company standards.
