Job Summary:

The Bell Attendant is responsible for providing a consistently excellent level of service to guests by delivering a friendly and personalized welcoming experience. This role involves ensuring a permanent presence at the hotel entrance while maintaining the cleanliness of the storage area and keeping equipment in good condition.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Guest Services:
    • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, assisting with luggage and offering information about hotel services.
    • Provide personalized assistance to guests, including directions, recommendations, and information about local attractions.
  • Luggage Handling:
    • Safely transport guest luggage to and from rooms, ensuring prompt delivery and proper handling.
    • Store and retrieve guest luggage as needed, maintaining an organized luggage storage area.
  • Maintenance and Cleanliness:
    • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bell desk and storage areas at all times.
    • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues to management.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Coordinate with Front Office staff and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
    • Communicate effectively with guests, providing assistance and information in a courteous manner.
  • Safety and Security:
    • Monitor the hotel entrance and surrounding areas to ensure guest safety and security.
    • Adhere to hotel policies and procedures related to guest service and safety.
  • Multilingual Support:
    • Utilize language skills (Arabic and Russian) to assist non-English speaking guests effectively.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in hotel operations, preferably in a guest service role.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and Russian is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high service standards.

 

Level of Education:

  • Ideally, a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time position with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum 24 months of experience in a customer-facing role within the hospitality industry.
