Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Bartender to join our Food & Beverage Team at Sal, Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort. The Bartender will be responsible for crafting beverages, maintaining bar operations, and delivering exceptional guest service in a luxury setting.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Familiarize thoroughly with the private dining menu, beverage selections, wine list, and pricing.
  • Master ingredients and preparation methods for all mixed drinks and expertly recommend wines to complement food items.
  • Ensure all beverages are presented and served at the correct temperature and with the highest quality.
  • Coordinate collection and distribution of arrival amenities in line with guest lists and handle last-minute changes or special requests.
  • Collaborate with the Cost Controller for monthly inventory checks of the dispense bar, addressing any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Dispense beverages as per the Kitchen Order Tickets (KOTs), ensuring accuracy and adherence to hotel standards.
  • Promptly address service requests and assist colleagues when needed, fostering a supportive work environment.
  • Deliver warm, personalized service, using the guest’s name during interactions to enhance their experience.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to prepare and deliver orders efficiently when assigned.
  • Stay informed about hotel activities and events to assist guests with any inquiries.
  • Maintain high grooming and appearance standards in line with hotel expectations.
  • Promote positive working relationships across all levels, without discrimination, fostering a healthy team culture.
  • Adhere to all hotel procedures and standards, serving as a role model for other team members.
  • Perform any additional duties as requested by management.

 

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of beverage preparation and service, including wines and cocktails.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

 

Level of Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time role, with shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 12–24 months in a similar position within a luxury hotel or restaurant.
