Job Summary:

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional and consistent service to guests in the hotel's beverage outlets. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a well-organized and clean bar area.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to the hotel’s standards.
  • Ensure that the bar is fully stocked, clean, and complies with all health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and making drink recommendations.
  • Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage the POS system efficiently.
  • Monitor customer preferences and anticipate needs to provide personalized service.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless service for guests.
  • Assist with inventory control, ensuring supplies are ordered and stocked accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and legal regulations related to serving alcohol.
  • Organize bar displays and ensure promotional materials are up to date.
  • Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.

 

Requirements:

  • Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
  • Ability to prepare drinks with speed, precision, and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of mixology and beverage trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and handling cash transactions.
  • Must adhere to cleanliness standards and ensure proper sanitation of the bar area.

 

Level of Education:

  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field preferred.

Work Hours:

  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum 24 months of experience in hotel or hospitality bar operations.
