Job Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for delivering excellent beverage service in the hotel's designated bar or restaurant outlets. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests to create memorable experiences, and ensuring compliance with beverage standards. The Bartender will also assist in maintaining a clean and efficient bar area.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the bar area is fully stocked, clean, and organized before, during, and after service.
  • Engage with guests, offering recommendations and creating a welcoming environment.
  • Uphold strict standards for beverage presentation, taste, and consistency.
  • Monitor and control inventory, placing orders as needed to maintain stock levels.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed.
  • Work closely with the bar and service teams to provide seamless service.
  • Maintain knowledge of beverage trends and introduce creative drink ideas.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist in training new bar staff and maintaining team morale.

 

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a bartender in a luxury hotel, restaurant, or bar.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and other beverages.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Creative and passionate about mixology and guest engagement.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and bar operations.

 

Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in bartending or hospitality are an advantage.

Work Hours:
Full-time with flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Experience in Months:
At least 12 months of bartending experience in a luxury or high-end hospitality setting.
