Responsibilities An opportunity has arisen for a Bar Manager to join our team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar operations within the Jumeirah establishment. This includes managing staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring quality service, and maximizing profitability Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service Handle customer inquiries, comments, and complaints promptly and professionally Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements as necessary Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure adequate stock levels Place orders for supplies and beverages in a timely manner Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and shrinkage Develop and implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability Monitor expenses and revenue, and prepare regular reports for management Identify opportunities to increase sales and revenue through promotions and marketing initiatives

About you: 

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • At least two years of kitchen experience in similar position in an international five-star chain
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of beverage trends, mixology, and cocktail recipes
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
