Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bar Supervisor to ensure the seamless daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge of beverages, creative cocktail development, and team supervision, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational standards, driving beverage service excellence, and supporting overall outlet performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the efficient operation of the bar, ensuring all activities run smoothly.
  • Ensure all bar equipment is clean, operational, and maintained according to health and safety standards.
  • Maintain strict uniform and personal presentation standards, adhering to hotel policies.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the beverage menu to offer tailored advice and recommendations to guests.
  • Collaborate on the continuous development of creative cocktail and mocktail offerings.
  • Guarantee consistency in beverage preparation, ensuring the highest standards are met.
  • Assist in menu development, keeping current with beverage trends and guest preferences.
  • Facilitate beverage training for the team to enhance product knowledge and service quality.
  • Monitor guest facilities and service standards, ensuring a premium experience.
  • Provide exemplary customer service aligned with established SOPs, handling guest complaints effectively and documenting them for follow-up.
  • Supervise staff during shifts, functions, and service within designated bar sections.
  • Ensure the bar area is well-stocked, organized, and cleaned, managing stock levels and security procedures.
  • Perform monthly inventory checks and manage stock reconciliation processes.
  • Minimize wastage, breakage, and spoilage, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Participate actively in the Bartender Community of the Cluster, sharing knowledge and innovations.
  • Execute any other tasks assigned by the Manager, contributing to the overall success of the outlet.

 

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and mixology techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • A warm, engaging personality with the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
  • Willingness to continually learn and adapt to new trends and requirements.
  • WSET Level 1 certification in Wine or Spirits is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • A genuine passion for food and beverage, with curiosity and a drive to innovate.
  • Solid organizational skills and a focus on maintaining operational excellence.
