Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Bar Attendant for Nobu at Atlantis, The Palm. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional beverage service while providing an engaging and memorable experience for our guests. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-end environment, contributing to the success of a world-renowned luxury destination.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to the bar menu and guest preferences.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of signature cocktails, wines, beers, and other beverages to provide recommendations and upsell items.
  • Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of the bar area, complying with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and provide exceptional service in a fast-paced setting.
  • Collaborate closely with bar and service teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders.
  • Accurately handle payment transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock management, and prepare requisitions as necessary.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in beverages and contribute ideas to improve the bar menu and service.
  • Assist in training new bar staff on drink preparation, customer service, and safety procedures.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues in a professional manner.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a high-volume, luxury bar or restaurant.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and serve diverse clientele.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple orders in a high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation, cocktail mixing techniques, and food safety standards.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Familiarity with bar equipment and POS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.

 

Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; bartending certifications or additional hospitality training preferred.

Work Hours:
Full-time position with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in Months:
12-24 months of experience in a fast-paced bar or restaurant environment, with a focus on luxury service.
