Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Banquet Manager – F&B Service to join the team at Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The role is responsible for overseeing all banquet operations, ensuring impeccable service delivery, and maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and supervise day-to-day banquet operations, ensuring efficient workflows aligned with Jumeirah's standards for luxury service.
  • Manage the planning and execution of all banquet functions, ensuring a seamless guest experience from start to finish.
  • Monitor and maintain the highest food hygiene and safety standards, implementing continuous improvements in line with best practices.
  • Ensure profitability by managing budget control, cost-saving initiatives, and monitoring departmental performance for consistent revenue generation.
  • Provide training, coaching, and feedback to banquet staff to improve service delivery and foster team development.
  • Handle guest feedback related to food quality, service, and event satisfaction, taking timely action to address any concerns.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and event planning teams to design and execute banquet menus that align with client preferences and brand standards.
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols are strictly followed, conducting regular inspections to maintain compliance with local regulations.
  • Develop innovative solutions to enhance service efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction, implementing new strategies to optimize operations.
  • Prepare and analyze banquet reports, including guest feedback, operational performance, and financial results, presenting them to management for decision-making.
  • Maintain an organized and professional environment, ensuring all equipment, supplies, and banquet areas are in perfect working order.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Banquet Manager in a luxury hotel or high-end event setting.
  • Strong background in food and beverage service, with experience in large-scale events and banquets.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence guests and colleagues alike.
  • Proficiency in banquet-related software such as Micros and Opera, along with basic MS Office skills.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and deliver outstanding guest experiences under pressure.

 

Level of Education:

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field preferred.

Work Hours:

  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedules.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum 24 months of experience in a similar managerial role in luxury hospitality.
