Job Summary:

As a Bar Attendant at the Pools and Beach of Atlantis Dubai, you will be responsible for managing beverage orders in a high-energy environment, ensuring guests receive exceptional service and attention. You will have extensive knowledge of the bar menu and provide detailed descriptions of cocktails, wines, and other beverages.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prioritize multiple beverage orders while maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Provide detailed descriptions of cocktails and beverages to guests, showcasing knowledge of ingredients and preparation.
  • Upsell beverage items and create personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
  • Collaborate closely with bar and service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards in all beverage preparation and service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies as needed.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in creating and implementing seasonal drink menus and promotions.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance beverage knowledge and service skills.
  • Handle cash and payment transactions accurately and securely.

 

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a bar attendant or in a similar role within a high-volume hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and other beverages, with the ability to make informed recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations related to food and beverage service.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

 

Level of Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in bartending or mixology is a plus.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time position, with flexibility required for shifts including weekends and holidays.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 12-24 months (1-2 years) in a bar or beverage service role.
