Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Outlet Manager to join the Blind Tiger (Bar) team at Jumeirah Al Naseem. The role involves overseeing daily operations, maintaining service excellence, and supporting the Outlet Manager in driving business growth. This position requires a passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to create exceptional guest experiences.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure service standards are consistently met according to established procedures.
  • Supervise staff to provide courteous, professional, and engaging service to guests, creating personalized dining experiences.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with the outlet's cashiering and inventory processes, ensuring all financial transactions and paperwork are accurately completed.
  • Assist in managing budgets, including monitoring expenses, controlling costs, and identifying opportunities for increased profitability.
  • Ensure all necessary operational supplies are ordered and stocked in a timely manner, while staying within budgetary constraints.
  • Oversee staff schedules, training, and development to ensure efficient team performance and high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve service issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
  • Support the Outlet Manager in preparing annual forecasts and business plans to meet financial and operational goals.
  • Suggest and implement strategies to increase market share, optimize profits, and enhance the bar’s reputation.
  • Foster relationships with regular guests, maintaining accurate guest records to personalize future interactions.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Assistant Outlet Manager role, with a solid background in food and beverage operations, preferably in a branded or standalone restaurant or bar.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and increasing profitability.
  • Fluent in English; additional international languages are an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently.

 

Level of Education:

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time position, with flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the outlet's operation.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 24 months (2 years) in a similar managerial role in the hospitality or F&B industry.
