Responsibilities The main duties and responsibilities of this role are: Supervises effectiveness of workflow and sequence of service during service periods and provides constant hands-on support. Provide knowledgeable, friendly, professional and efficient F&B Service to all guests ensuring maximum guest satisfaction in a manner consistent with Jumeirah standards. Maintain efficient workflow by adhering to the Sequence of Service and all timeframes and standards detailed in relevant SOPs in the F&B Standards Manual. Anticipate customer needs and expectations correctly, including those with special needs, and provide appropriate products, services or information. Identify and take all opportunities to enhance the quality of service (upselling, guest recognition, resort knowledge) Informs Outlet Manager / Assistant Manager of any complaints, negative feedback from guest after they first try to resolve. Maintain good knowledge of the menu to answer questions the guests may have. Maintain a thorough working knowledge of F&B SOPs and ensure these are upheld at all times through constant observation and coaching

Job Summary:  An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Assistant Outlet Manager. Responsible for overseeing all facets of the outlet, ensuring consistent and thoughtful service leading to creating unforgettable moments for guests’ worth sharing. Assists the Outlet Manager in day-to-day operations, leads by example and instils a culture of continuous learning and improvement among Colleagues; actively participates in Employee relations activities and programs, responsible to achieve the optimum level of guest satisfaction and outlet profitability maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork, motivating Colleagues leading to high team morale.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience:

Responsibilities:

  • Provides delightful and engaging services to all guests, ensuring all service standards are met in line with standard operating procedures and followed in a courteous yet professional manner.
  • Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all Guests are served as per the brand standard.
  • Assists the Outlet Manager in continuously growing the business.
  • Tracks and monitors guest interaction in a sensitive and appropriate manner, creates personalized experiences, establishes a network of regular guests, and keeps relevant and accurate records.
  • Handles routine inventories and re-orders operating supplies when necessary, ensuring all resources for an efficient operation are in place.
  • Maintains cash safeguards and ensures all paperwork is completed, filed, and kept up to date in accordance with company policy.
  • Assists the Outlet Manager in preparing annual plans, forecasts, and managing expenses to meet departmental budgetary goals. Maximizes profitability & revenue by controlling labour and expenses.
  • Presumes full responsibility for a specific Outlet(s) in the absence of the Outlet Manager, including and not limited to Forecasting, Audit and Compliance, Complaints, and Escalations.
  • Ensures that the team adheres to business conduct and ethics, Health & Safety policies, local hygiene regulations, and that all colleagues report to their daily assignments on time, properly groomed and dressed in line with grooming standards.
  • Leads, motivates, and continuously develops the team to maximize colleague productivity, departmental revenue, guest satisfaction, and department COS scores. Responsible for assisting the Outlet Manager/General Manager in ensuring that all colleagues have full product knowledge.
