Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Telecommunications at Madinat Jumeirah Resort. This role involves providing outstanding support and service to hotel guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly to enhance their overall experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guests with comprehensive information about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and directions, addressing inquiries accurately and promptly.
- Assist guests in booking reservations, arranging transportation, and organizing special requests or activities to enhance their stay.
- Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns professionally and efficiently, escalating issues to the appropriate department as needed.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are clean, well-maintained, and ready for occupancy.
- Act as a liaison between guests and various hotel departments to facilitate communication and ensure all guest needs are met effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of guest requests, preferences, and feedback to provide personalized service and improve guest satisfaction.
- Assist guests with billing inquiries, processing payments, and providing receipts, ensuring accuracy and transparency in all transactions.
- Support the coordination and execution of guest events, meetings, and special occasions, ensuring all arrangements meet guest expectations.
- Monitor the lobby area, reporting any suspicious activities and ensuring the safety and security of guests and hotel property at all times.
- Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to enhance guest service and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- UAE National as per government requirements.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; higher education in Hospitality or Management is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Effective communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in using hotel management software and telecommunications systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Level of Education:
- Minimum of a high school diploma; degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
Work Hours:
- Full-time position, including shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Experience in Months:
- Minimum of 12 to 36 months (1-3 years) in a similar role within the hospitality sector.
