Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager - Food and Beverage is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the department in line with corporate strategies and brand standards. This role involves assisting the Outlet Manager in managing the outlet as an independent profit center, ensuring guest satisfaction, adherence to budget, and overall financial success.
Responsibilities:
- Outlet Management:
- Assist in managing daily operations of the food and beverage outlet, ensuring smooth workflow and high service standards.
- Support the Outlet Manager in developing strategies to optimize profitability and control costs.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any performance issues.
- Guest Satisfaction:
- Ensure guest satisfaction by resolving complaints and anticipating guest needs.
- Maintain high levels of customer service in line with brand expectations.
- Budget and Cost Control:
- Assist in managing the outlet's budget, including revenue generation and cost control.
- Monitor stock levels and order supplies as necessary to prevent over or understocking.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and hotel policies.
- Oversee proper handling of equipment and supplies to maintain the outlet in peak condition.
- Event and Service Coordination:
- Assist in planning and executing special events and promotions within the outlet.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service during events and busy periods.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Budget management and financial acumen.
- Knowledge of food and beverage trends and industry regulations.
Level of Education:
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or a related field is preferred.
Work Hours:
- Full-time with flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
Experience in Months:
- Minimum 24 months of experience as an Assistant Manager, Team Leader, or in a supervisory role in a hotel or large restaurant.
