Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Finance for Wild Wadi Waterpark. The role involves managing financial operations, analyzing reports, and ensuring accurate financial documentation to support the waterpark's business goals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze monthly Profit & Loss Statements and provide detailed insights.
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly and ensure no unauthorized postings.
  • Assist the Director of Finance in preparing monthly forecasts, balance sheets, and reports.
  • Post journals for month-end processes, ensuring accurate cost center allocations.
  • Support the analyst in preparing regional review presentations.
  • Prepare and update quarterly results for Finance Key Performance Indicators.
  • Update monthly actuals in Hyperion and Financial Management Systems.
  • Review and consolidate results for quarterly colleague bonuses and service charges.
  • Maintain and update trackers for contracts, insurance, accruals, and CAPEX.
  • Provide training to coordinators on Profit & Loss, ledger reviews, and financial systems.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and developing financial strategies to optimize waterpark performance.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, improving efficiency within financial operations.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to forecast business performance.
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel; experience with Oracle, Hyperion, PMS, and POS systems is an advantage.
  • Effective communication skills for report presentations and team training.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

 

Level of Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. CIMA qualification is preferred.

 

Work Hours:
Full-time role with flexible hours based on operational needs.

 

Experience in Months:
A minimum of 24 months of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or a related sector.
