Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager for our Outdoor Operations at Atlantis, The Royal. The role involves supporting the Outdoor Operations Manager in overseeing guest experience, sales, and operational efficiency across outdoor dining areas, ensuring the highest standards of service and quality are met. The Assistant Manager will play a critical role in team management, cost control, and maintaining an exceptional outdoor luxury atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Outdoor Operations Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless service in all outdoor areas.
- Manage and supervise staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences, ensuring standards are consistently met.
- Implement cost-control strategies to optimize revenue and reduce waste while maintaining quality service.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in all outdoor spaces.
- Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance management to ensure operational efficiency.
- Work closely with other departments, such as kitchen and maintenance, to ensure coordinated service.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues to guarantee satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and provide recommendations for product improvement and guest offerings.
- Contribute to creating a positive work environment, focusing on colleague retention and development.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in outdoor dining or event management.
- Proven experience in managing and leading teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong understanding of outdoor operations, guest relations, and luxury service standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Knowledge of cost-control strategies and experience in maximizing revenue.
- International exposure in a 5-star hotel or luxury environment is highly preferred.
Level of Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
Work Hours:
Full-time, flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Experience in Months:
Minimum 60 months (5 years) in the hospitality sector, with at least 24 months in outdoor operations or similar role.
