Responsibilities Ensure guest satisfaction from arrival to departure in accordance to the LQA and Jumeirah standards. Manage Concierge daily operation of the department. Have an in-depth knowledge or access to information regarding directions, travel time, cost and various forms of transportation provided by the hotel and in the city. Maintain a constantly updated database with extensive information about city highlights, events and attractions. Be aware of all daily events in the hotel. Arrange tickets for theatre, sporting events and local attractions. Make and confirm dining reservations. Ensure all E-Butler conversations and requests are attended to and completed, with digital itineraries complete and shared with guests. Ensure all guests e-mails are properly answered within 12-hours. Liaise with Transportation Department for all transportation arrangements. Organize helicopter flights from/to the Burj Al Arab helipad and ensure all landing charges are paid by helicopter company. Create special conversations with guests, which identify personal preferences in order to record in each guest’s profile history. Work closely with the Front Office Team, Guest Relations, Service One, Transportation and Bell, Housekeeping, restaurants teams, and other departments to ensure best guest service delivery. Maintain and update daily record via E-Concierge of all guest requests, reservations and confirmations for guests and keep track of all reservations. Address any glitch to ensure rectification, recovery and guest satisfaction. Perform administrative tasks in absence of Chief Concierge.

Job Summary: An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Concierge Managerto join Burj Al Arab Jumeirah.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a 5-star hotel and 2 years’ experience as Concierge Team Leader in a 5-star hotel.
  • Excellent command of English (written and oral) – Fluency in other languages is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of computer programs such as MS Office, Opera, HotSos, E-Butler/E-Concierge.
  • Strong listening skills.
