Job Summary:
We are seeking an Assistant Manager – Conferences & Incentives (C&I) for Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The role involves supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of conferences and events, ensuring exceptional service delivery, seamless operations, and positive client experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate conferences, incentives, and events, including logistics, schedules, and vendor management.
- Communicate with clients to gather event requirements, provide updates, and resolve inquiries or concerns.
- Oversee event staff, providing training and guidance during setup, execution, and breakdown.
- Secure venues and coordinate facility arrangements to ensure event requirements are met.
- Develop and manage event budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Liaise with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Provide on-site support during events to manage operations and ensure client satisfaction.
- Plan event logistics, including transportation, accommodations, and guest services.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, gather client feedback, and contribute to future improvement initiatives.
- Perform administrative tasks, including preparing event documents, managing records, and maintaining event calendars.
Requirements:
- Strong event management, coordination, and logistics skills.
- Excellent client communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage budgets, vendors, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in coordinating multi-day events, including large-scale conferences.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to train and manage event teams.
Level of Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communication, or a relevant field.
Work Hours:
Full-time with flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Experience in Months:
48-72 months (4-6 years) of relevant event management experience.
