Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Guest Activities Animator to join the entertainment team at Atlantis, The Palm. This role involves hosting and organizing recreational, social, and entertainment programs for guests, ensuring a memorable experience through creative activities and engaging performances.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and execute a variety of recreational and entertainment programs for adults and families.
  • Host and emcee events, including sports activities, theme nights, poolside entertainment, and family games.
  • Deliver dance, music, and comedy performances, creating a fun and engaging atmosphere for guests.
  • Engage large and small groups of guests with high energy and enthusiasm throughout their stay.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate large-scale events and special activities.
  • Monitor guest feedback and adjust activities accordingly to enhance the guest experience.
  • Develop new and innovative activities that cater to different age groups and interests.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of guests during all activities, following resort policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional and engaging presence, interacting courteously with guests and staff.
  • Assist in managing entertainment schedules, ensuring all activities are carried out on time.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in entertainment or guest activities, preferably in a resort, cruise line, or similar setting.
  • Strong background in performance arts such as theater, music, dance, or comedy.
  • Special skills or talents that can be incorporated into guest activities (e.g., juggling, magic tricks, etc.).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and engage guests of all ages with energy and professionalism.
  • Proficient in microphone techniques, ensuring clear and courteous communication with large audiences.
  • Experience working outdoors in hot and humid conditions, maintaining energy and enthusiasm.
  • Creativity in designing and delivering unique, engaging activities for diverse guest groups.

 

Level of Education:
Diploma or equivalent qualification in Performing Arts, Recreation, or a related field.

 

Work Hours:
Full-time, flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in Months:
Minimum of 24 months in an entertainment or guest-facing role, with experience in performance-based activities.
