Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Food and Beverage Administrator to support the F&B team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The role involves providing essential administrative and clerical services, ensuring smooth operations within the department, and assisting with various F&B functions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and analysis for department meetings and performance reviews.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams and vendors to ensure timely supply of orders and maintain inventory of office supplies, forms, and tools.
  • Track and monitor budgets, expenses, and project statuses, providing regular updates to management.
  • Develop and streamline administrative processes to enhance productivity within the department.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and assist with payroll-related activities and status changes such as performance reviews.
  • Handle internal communication, responding to employee inquiries and maintaining confidentiality on sensitive matters.
  • Ensure all department processes adhere to Jumeirah’s high standards of quality and service excellence.
  • Assist with organizing and coordinating F&B events, meetings, and departmental schedules.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role within a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
  • Proficient in English, with knowledge of additional languages such as Spanish, French, Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, German, or Greek being advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and vendors.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

 

Level of Education:

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time position, flexible schedule based on department needs, including weekends and holidays.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 24 months in an administrative role within the hospitality or F&B industry.
