Job Summary:
We are seeking passionate and dynamic Finance professionals to join our team as Accounts Clerks. In this role, you will assist the Finance Team with accounting records and support the Paymaster in updating payroll systems, contributing to the efficient financial operations of the organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records and ensure proper filing of financial documents.
  • Process requisitions for office supplies and ensure smooth operational flow for the Finance Department.
  • Verify and approve attendance sheets from various departments before submission to the Paymaster.
  • Support the Paymaster with departmental attendance sheet administration and payroll updates.
  • Distribute pay slips to Department Heads, ensuring proper documentation with their signatures upon delivery.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly, transferring calls when necessary and accurately recording messages.
  • Communicate with suppliers to follow up on pending payments and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding financial records and sensitive information.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and reconciliations as required.
  • Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
  • Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights on process improvements and efficiency enhancements.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in hotel management, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 months of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong computer literacy, with experience in accounting software such as Opera, Micros, FBM, or SUN System.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and flexible approach.

 

Level of Education:

  • Degree in hotel management, accounting, finance, or a related field.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time, with potential for overtime during peak periods.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 12 months of experience in a finance or accounting role.
