Job Summary:
The MIT (Manager in Training) - Human Resources role is designed to assist in the efficient management of the Human Resources department, ensuring alignment with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards. The role supports a wide range of HR functions, including employee wellness, talent management, compensation, and employee relations, while contributing to the overall well-being and engagement of colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Support the administration of employee wellness programs and safety initiatives.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including talent identification, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
- Participate in talent management processes, such as succession planning and performance evaluations.
- Help administer compensation and benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness perks.
- Assist in payroll processing by collecting and verifying employee attendance and other related data.
- Address employee grievances and concerns, providing support in investigations and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Organize employee engagement activities, team-building events, and recognition programs to foster a positive work environment.
- Facilitate communication between employees and management, ensuring an open and supportive dialogue.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, labor laws, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage confidential information.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Previous experience in HR or hotel operations is a plus.
Level of Education:
University degree or diploma, preferably in Human Resources, Hospitality, or a related field.
Work Hours:
Full-time, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
Experience in Months:
Minimum 12 months of experience in Human Resources or hotel operations preferred.
