• Provide advice, information, instruction on local HSE issues and assist in the application of HSE procedures
• To ensure that Risk Assessment for all potentially hazardous operations are developed and made known to the concerned personnel.
• Assist in carrying out safety inspections and audits relating to COSHH risk assessment,
• To co-ordinate and monitor the implementation of the requirements of Health & Safety Plan and to arrange continuous and formal daily safety monitoring in order to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Report and investigate incidents, injuries and hazards and implement agreed control measures
• To provide adequate training for site Management, Supervisors and their team and Sub-contractors as per scope of the HSE Plan
• Responsible in maintaining a register for all the accidents and near misses that happened during the project, publicize the statistics and update in a daily manner
• To maintain records and inspection & testing certificates of all the heavy equipment and tools.
• Provide internal training to employees and also arrange external safety training to employees when necessary.
• Encourage and educate employees to take precautions and adhere to safety rules to protect themselves and the Equipment they use from damage,
• Report to the appropriate authority workers violating safety rules.

• Conducting Daily Tool Box Talks and Safety Induction,
• Preparation of work permits, checklists for Moving Equipment, Machinery & Electrical equipment Etc.,
• Establishing inspection schedules for all tools, major equipment, lifting devices and mobile equipment have valid paper and regular inspection is carried out,
• Ensuring SWL-Safe Work Load calculations for the engaged lifting task,
• Hazard identification, Analysis and its controls,
• Help to promote HSE Awareness,
• Conduct regular safety inspection on all facilities,
• Preparing sign boards and banners regarding safety,
• Preparation of Emergency Planning & Conducting Mock Drill,
• Ensuring the availability of first aid kits and fire extinguishers,
• Preparing accident and incident reports,

• Conducting Tool Box Talks and Safety Induction,
• Co-coordinating with the client and other companies HSE officers,
• Establishing inspection schedules for all tools, major equipment, lifting devices and mobile equipment,
• Inspection of Confined spaces, Scaffolding and working at heights,
• Involvement of Management walkthrough & mitigation plan,
• Ensuring proper use of PPE to the task,
• Monitoring and maintaining good housekeeping around the site,
• Daily monitoring and observing the site to identify unsafe action and conditions,
• Responsible in issuing detailed weekly / monthly safety reports including all accidents /incidents hazards and near misses observed, manpower, man-hours worked and submit it to the concerned office.
• To participate in the weekly safety audits inspections and to insure that all the unsafe acts / conditions reported are rectified,
• Making sure that all machinery on site have valid paper and regular inspection is carried out on the machinery
• Monitoring every work activity to ensure that they are done according to the risk assessment carried out for the

• Strictly implementation of better House Keeping on Warehouse, workshop and the job site,
• Implementing different types of PTW (permit to work) systems like COSHH, Confined space entry, Hot work and cold work.
• To detect, identify, analyze, control, eliminate and recognize hazardous substances, unsafe acts, conditions, behaviors and violations.
• Strictly Implementing Lockout & Tag out procedures for engaging electrical and mechanical maintenance activity.
• To ensure that Risk Assessment for all potentially hazardous operations are developed and made known to the concerned personnel.
• To liaise with and support Area Engineers, Superintendents, Supervisors, Security guards to promote safety awareness in their areas of responsibility.
• To investigate and report immediately in writing all accidents, unsafe acts, near misses occurred at the work site and to submit in writing to the concerned office.
• Responsible in maintaining a register for all the accidents and near misses that happened during the project, publicize the statistics and update in a daily manner.
• Checking of All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)’s and ensuring proper use of PPE to the task,
• Make Monthly Inspection of Fire Protection system like Fire Hydrant pumps, Smoke detectors, sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers Etc.,
• Keep Record of All safety Meetings, Injuries, Property damages, Fire,
• Closely observation to make sure that First Aid welfare facilities Properly maintained,
• Make Daily, Weekly & Monthly reports regarding safety in this job.
