Scope:
The Storekeeper performs duties to support shifting and receiving, deliveries, coordination stock, documenting transactions, maintaining records, and overseeing shortage and surplus of stock.
Job Responsibilities:
Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders; processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders; reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.
Maintains an inventory control system for the Warehouse/Store to ensure goods received, stored and shipped from the Warehouse are properly recorded and accounted for.
Fills supply requestions; assists buyer to order adequate materials and follow supplier to deliver materials as per purchase order.
Receives, stores, tags and prepare list for available stock.
Ships cancelled and damaged items back to vendors as appropriates.
Maintains the store, store area and records in a neat and orderly manner.
Follow up the plant and fleet and coordinating with the workshop persons in case of any break down.
Arranges for repairs of a variety of tools and equipment.
Issues the material as per the requisition of the production. When received requisition issuing material from the store.
Ensures compliance with District and Government health and safety procedures and regulations that relate to the work performed to minimize potential for accidents, injuries or hazards in the Warehouse/Store.
Trains and advises warehouse/Store employees in materials handling procedures and in the operation of equipment used.
Working Experience
Having More than 13 Years of experience as Store Keeper.
Working with Ghantoot Group as Senior Storekeeper from 15 May 2014 to till date.
Working with System Construct as Storekeeper from 10 June 2010 to 30 March 2014.
Worked as Store In charge at civil co Civil Engineering from 11 April 2005 to 25 May 2010.
