Job Role: Leading a team of six contract managers to administer JODC Post-Tender contracts worth of (SR) 10 Billion
• Review, enhance, and recommend Contract Conditions at Pre-Tendering Stage to eliminate Employer’s Risks by adopting the best possible protective measures.

• Ensure, maintain, and administer contractors’ Tender Bonds, Performance Bonds, and Insurance Policies according to contracts requirements and conditions.

• Provide professional advice, expertise, and practical assistance and support to the Execution Department on daily contract administration of current contracts, issuance/ respond to contractual correspondences, and monitoring contractors’ and other stakeholders’ contractual obligations towards JODC.

• Follow up and coordinating the role of the supervision consultants, ensuring their contractual fulfillments and roles towards the JODC and the contractors. Reviewing and/ or supporting consultants’ correspondences to the contractors as per contracts conditions.

• Taking all adequate internal measures for avoiding disputes during project operation; attending and addressing contractual matters with client / consultants and negotiating claims / extension of time and mitigating any contractual disputes.

• Review and Support PMs in Contractual Correspondences during Construction Stage to minimize contractual risks, claims, and extension of time claims.

• Negotiate, draft, amend, and administer contracts with all project stakeholders, main contractors, designers, consultants, end-users, operators, and associated contractors/ providers to the best interest of and least risk to the Employer.

• Analysis and determining contractors’ claims, leading debates and dispute resolution.

• Ensure Closeout of projects according to projects milestones; ensure obtaining all Employer’s documents and certificates as per contract conditions.

• Prepare & follow up Projects Consolidated Contractual Report with the best-recommended options for Action Plans to executive management.

• Analyze, draft, negotiate, and recommend to executive management contract amendments with contractors, if necessary, to the best benefit to the Employer by reducing the risks of contractors’ and consultants’ claims for cost and/ or extension of time against the Employer.
