I. SAFCO Utility Improvement and Power Transfer Project. The basic scope of work involves improvement of utilities like steam, power supply, water and other Utilities by enhancing their capacity and replacement with new generation systems. The main objective of SAFCO Power Transfer Project is to enhance the existing electrical power utilization capacity from 35 MVA at 115 kV to 93 MVA at 230 kV by designing and building a new 230kV GIS Power substation. Replacement of the existing 115KV Cable from SEC-Residential Area S/S with new 230 KV XLPE Cable from SEC-IBN Zahr S/S.
II. PK Power Expansion Project: Execution of the Project from Concept to Commissioning, start up and handover to the owner. The Scope of work of the PK –Power Expansion Project can be summarized as follows:
Construction of the new 230KV GIS Electrical Power substation in Block L of the existing PK plant named as “230 KV GIS substation”.
Construction of the new 230/34.5KV substation in Block A9 in olefins1 of the existing PK plant named as “PK East Substation”.
Construction of new concrete trench and duct banks under road crossing and existing pipe crossing for laying and Termination of 230KV XLPE feeder cables from the substations.
III. Utilities and Offsite Project for Petrokemya (West) Plants: Worked for Feed and EPC Contracts for the Execution of U&O Project .The basic scope of the Project involved provision of all necessary utilities and facilities like Potable water, steam generation system, DM water system, sea water system and cooling tower, instrument air, fuel gas, nitrogen, liquid fuel, caustic soda, industrial waste water treatment and disposal system and chemical pipelines to supply styrene, butadiene, CAN feed stocks etc to the upcoming Petrokemya ABS Plant.

Roles and Responsibilities:

A. Planning
 Develop the Master plan for executing and controlling the project in coordination with the PMT.
 Ensure EPC contractor, planning and reporting procedures are developed, and systems are setup for Management reporting as specified in the ITB.
 Preparation and approval of the project budget and verify as per the approved cost Estimate.
 Establish specific project goals and milestones, set priorities for all facets of the project, and issue them to the PMT.
 Review and advise the EPC for the mitigation plan /Recovery Plan during the slippage of the schedule.
 Achieve the formulation of procedures and guidelines for project control functions as per SABIC requirements and ensures the compliance and implementation of the same.
B. Organizing:
 Finalize the Project Control organization chart showing the lines of authority and interrelationships of key personnel and activities on the project for the EPC and PMT.
 Prepare and or issue job descriptions detailing the duties, responsibilities and project objectives for key project team personnel.
 Keep the contracting parties informed of changes in the project organizational structure and secure contractual approvals if required.
 Guides direct and supervises subordinates to ensure they work to their best potential and contribute effectively as a team.
 Plans and participates in the ongoing training and development of assigned Saudi national employees. Includes assessing employees training and development needs, directing the preparation of structured development/familiarization programs.
C. Controlling:
