Job Summary:

As a Cocktail Waitress at Ling Ling, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional fine dining service to our guests. You will assist your colleagues while ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience through outstanding service and attention to detail.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, anticipating their needs and preferences.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the full food and beverage menu, including daily specials and promotions.
  • Monitor the quality and presentation of food and beverage items, ensuring consistency and adherence to service standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to facilitate efficient service and address special guest requests.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, escalating significant issues to management when necessary.
  • Assist in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring a clean and inviting dining environment.
  • Support and mentor junior staff members, fostering a positive team atmosphere.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and service skills.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both guests and staff.
  • Upsell food and beverage items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a fine dining restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits, with the ability to provide recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems and handling cash transactions is a plus.

 

Level of Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality or food service is preferred.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time position with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 24 months (2 years) in a fine dining service role.
