Job Summary:

As a Hostess at Nobu by the Beach, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a memorable and welcoming experience. You will greet guests upon arrival, manage the waiting list, show guests to their tables, and ensure a smooth dining experience from start to finish.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Communicate estimated wait times clearly and manage the waiting list efficiently.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and approachable manner, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist in monitoring table turnover and optimize seating arrangements to maximize capacity.
  • Coordinate with the service staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the entrance and waiting area.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of the menu and service standards.
  • Support promotional activities and special events by providing exceptional service.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as making reservations and managing guest databases.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 24 months of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service focus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in reservation systems and basic computer skills is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

 

Level of Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further hospitality education is a plus.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time position with flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 24 months in a hospitality or customer service role.
