Job Summary:
The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant and Bar Managers in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient service, profitability, and exceptional guest experiences. This role involves staff training, managing schedules, upholding standards, and enhancing team performance while maintaining customer satisfaction and cost-efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing restaurant and bar operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to uphold service standards.
- Coordinate and oversee employee schedules, optimizing shift coverage.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and company policies.
- Monitor and control operating costs, seeking opportunities for efficiency.
- Address guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain high service standards.
- Support staff retention through effective leadership and team morale-building.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest satisfaction and experience.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment.
- Strong team leadership and hands-on management style.
- High customer service focus and effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
Level of Education:
- High school diploma; degree in hospitality or business management preferred.
Work Hours:
- Full-time, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Experience in Months:
- Minimum 36 months in a similar role; international experience preferred.
