Job Summary:

As a Guest Service Officer - Front Office, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation at the reception desk within the Rooms Division. You will play a key role in providing a welcoming and efficient experience for guests, ensuring their needs are met during their stay.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out processes in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Handle guest inquiries, provide information about hotel services, and respond to special requests efficiently.
  • Manage room reservations and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Maintain accurate guest records, process payments, and ensure proper handling of guest accounts.
  • Resolve guest issues promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Provide concierge services, including booking transport, restaurant reservations, and tours.
  • Support the Front Office team in delivering exceptional service in line with hotel standards.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Handle multilingual guest communication effectively if proficient in additional languages.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of front desk operations, reservation systems, and basic cash handling.
  • Fluency in Arabic, Russian, German, or French is preferred.

 

Level of Education:

  • A relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management is preferred.

Work Hours:

  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 12 months of experience in hotel operations or a customer-facing role.
