Job Summary:
As a Reservations Guest Service Officer, you will provide professional and customer-centric service to ensure a memorable guest experience. You will handle reservations, assist with guest inquiries, and contribute to the smooth operation of the reservations department in line with hotel standards and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Process guest reservations efficiently while ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
- Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and other channels in a courteous and timely manner.
- Assist guests with special requests and provide personalized service to meet their needs.
- Ensure all reservations are updated and maintained in the system, adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as front desk and sales, to ensure seamless guest service.
- Manage guest profiles and preferences to enhance their stay experience.
- Handle cancellations, modifications, and special requests while optimizing room inventory.
- Support the team in achieving departmental goals, including occupancy targets and revenue maximization.
- Ensure compliance with hotel standards and protocols for guest data security.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of hotel reservation systems (e.g., Opera) is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing reservations.
Level of Education:
- Diploma or qualification in Hospitality or Tourism Management.
Work Hours:
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Experience in Months:
- Minimum 12 months of experience in reservations or guest services. Russian language skills are preferred.
