Job Summary:

The Hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring they have an exceptional dining experience. This role involves seating guests, managing reservations, handling payments, and assisting with the overall smooth operation of the restaurant. The Hostess plays a key role in maintaining high service standards, contributing to customer satisfaction, and fostering strong relationships with guests.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a smooth flow of service.
• Manage restaurant reservations and maintain an organized seating plan.
• Assist guests with inquiries and special requests, ensuring their needs are met.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Support service staff by coordinating table assignments and monitoring guest needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Manage inventory and assist in stock control for the restaurant.
• Build lasting relationships with guests, ensuring repeat business and positive reviews.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service best practices.
• Language proficiency in Russian is preferred.

Level of Education:

• Degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management preferred.

Work Hours:

• Full-time, flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Experience in Months:

• Minimum 24 months of experience in a similar role within hotel or restaurant operations.
