Job Summary:
The Event Sales Executive is responsible for driving business growth by identifying opportunities and building strong relationships with clients. This role involves conducting site inspections, managing client inquiries, and coordinating with various departments to ensure successful event execution. The Event Sales Executive will focus on meeting client needs, converting leads, and achieving sales targets while maintaining the highest standards of service.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively seek business opportunities by generating leads and staying in close contact with potential and existing clients.
- Conduct hotel site inspections and entertain clients, showcasing event spaces and services.
- Arrange client meetings off-site to discuss event requirements and build long-term relationships.
- Handle guest and employee inquiries courteously and efficiently, resolving any issues promptly.
- Perform competitor analysis and maintain up-to-date product knowledge to enhance sales strategies.
- Prepare event proposals tailored to client needs and ensure accurate processing of event orders.
- Collaborate with operations departments to meet client requests and ensure successful event delivery.
- Convert active leads into confirmed bookings and consistently meet personal sales targets.
- Ensure compliance with laws, hotel policies, and relevant industry regulations.
- Provide support to team members and assist in cross-functional tasks as needed.
- Maintain positive guest and colleague interactions, fostering strong working relationships.
- Train and mentor Sales Coordinators to enhance their skills and maximize team efficiency.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and event management software.
- Knowledge of current industry trends and regulations is an advantage.
Level of Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Work Hours:
- Full-time with flexibility for client meetings and events.
Experience in Months:
- Minimum 24 months of experience in sales or event management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
