Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager - Outlet is responsible for supporting the efficient operations of the assigned outlet, ensuring alignment with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards. This role involves assisting the Outlet Manager in achieving maximum guest satisfaction while operating within budget to ensure the financial success of the outlet.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Outlet Manager in daily operations, ensuring the outlet runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.
- Monitor service quality and guest feedback to ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction.
- Implement and maintain operational procedures, policies, and standards in line with Hyatt International expectations.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering, stock control, and waste reduction.
- Analyze financial reports and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
- Coordinate and participate in special events and promotions to enhance guest experiences and drive revenue.
- Support marketing initiatives to promote the outlet and attract new customers.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections of the outlet to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations and industry trends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Level of Education:
- Relevant degree, apprenticeship, or diploma in Hospitality or Restaurant Management is preferred.
Work Hours:
- Full-time position with flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Experience in Months:
- Minimum 24 months of experience as an Assistant Outlet Manager or Team Leader/Captain in a high-standard hotel or restaurant.
