Job Summary:
The Guest Service Officer is responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences by handling reservations, pre-arrival processes, and contributing to the efficient operation of the front office. This role focuses on maintaining high service standards and maximizing guest satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage guest reservations, ensuring all bookings are accurate and special requests are noted.
  • Handle pre-arrival processes, including room allocations and guest preferences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth guest check-in and check-out experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and ensure data is updated in the system.
  • Assist with VIP guest arrangements and special requests.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and handle any last-minute changes or cancellations with efficiency and professionalism.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in guest services, with knowledge of reservations processes.
  • Ability to handle guest issues and resolve them promptly.
  • Proficient in using hotel management software.

 

Level of Education:
Diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management preferred.

Work Hours:
Full-time, with flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in Months:
At least 12 months of experience in a similar role.
