Job Summary:
The Guest Service Officer is responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences by handling reservations, pre-arrival processes, and contributing to the efficient operation of the front office. This role focuses on maintaining high service standards and maximizing guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage guest reservations, ensuring all bookings are accurate and special requests are noted.
- Handle pre-arrival processes, including room allocations and guest preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth guest check-in and check-out experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and ensure data is updated in the system.
- Assist with VIP guest arrangements and special requests.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Monitor and handle any last-minute changes or cancellations with efficiency and professionalism.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in guest services, with knowledge of reservations processes.
- Ability to handle guest issues and resolve them promptly.
- Proficient in using hotel management software.
Level of Education:
Diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management preferred.
Work Hours:
Full-time, with flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Experience in Months:
At least 12 months of experience in a similar role.
