Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join our Global Sales Office, responsible for driving sales performance and managing key accounts in the assigned territory.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop the annual Commercial Plan and budget, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets as established in the annual Commercial Plan, working closely with the AVP – Global Sales.
  • Conduct a minimum of 28 sales visits per month to top accounts in the assigned territory, effectively promoting all properties.
  • Maintain accurate and updated data in Salesforce, ensuring adherence to call frequency and account ratings.
  • Execute sales visits in accordance with the Commercial Plan, fostering strong relationships with clients.
  • Assist the AVP – Global Sales with client-related activities, promotional events, and marketing initiatives.
  • Follow Shangri-La database entry standards in Salesforce to keep account, contact, opportunity, event, and RFP data organized and current.
  • Utilize Blueprint to analyze market trends and evaluate business opportunities within the assigned zone.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in industry networking events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Collaborate with marketing and revenue management teams to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in hotel sales or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Experience working with international luxury or chain hotels, preferably in a regional/global sales capacity in the UAE or Middle East.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business opportunities critically.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

 

Level of Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.

Work Hours:
Full-time, with flexibility to accommodate client needs and travel.

Experience in Months:
12-24 months (1-2 years) of relevant experience in hotel sales or a similar role.
