Job Summary:
We are seeking an Account Manager for our Dubai-based Global Sales team, responsible for driving revenue and building relationships within an assigned portfolio of corporate clients, with a focus on MICE, weddings, and luxury accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targets for a designated portfolio of corporate clients, focusing on MICE, weddings, and luxury accounts.
- Develop and implement SMART strategic action plans to achieve revenue and market source objectives.
- Support the international portfolio with market insights and sales activities, including sales calls, roadshows, and trade fairs.
- Implement Shangri-La’s strategic commercial programs across all key market segments.
- Maximize GSO profitability and foster strong business relationships within the designated markets.
- Conduct all client dealings and interactions with SLI hotels in a professional manner.
- Analyze market trends and client feedback to adjust strategies and improve service offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in achieving sales goals.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Proven track record (minimum 3 years) in luxury hotels within the GCC, preferably in a global sales environment.
- Strong and established sales network in corporate, leisure, MICE, and wedding planning sectors.
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Valid UAE driving license preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and analysis.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
Level of Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
Work Hours:
Full-time, with flexibility to accommodate client meetings and events.
Experience in Months:
36+ months (3+ years) of relevant experience in luxury hotel sales or a similar role.
